The defensive core relies on ultra-lightweight, high-resistance carbon fiber layered over the internal aspect of the fetlock - the zone most vulnerable to severe impact and brushing from the shoe of the adjacent leg. Directly beneath the carbon shell sits a 3mm Nitrexgel membrane that absorbs and dissipates over 40% of concussive force.
