I love this saddle. I have a very hard to fit high wither QH mare. She is a big girl with a slight sway back. This saddle fits her great. It is extremely lightweight (which the horse & I appreciate), well made and comfortable. I also have the regular size saddle for my other smaller horse. The price and quality is wonderful. I do recommend using a breast collar with these, because they are so lightweight.

This saddle is sturdy, easy to clean, light weight, and fits even my high withered older gelding...which isn't easy to do. It is a very comfortable saddle because of the freedom of movement in the fenders that you just can't get with leather...until it's very very well broke in.
The only thing I'd change is the cantle, and that just for looks. I can't remember the name of the style, but I'd rather it had the cantle that has a flat top to it rather than the simple ridge line.

This saddle seemed like a good bargain, and I needed something lightweight due to a shoulder injury, but it wasn't worth it. The stirrups are covered in suede which (I found out) was very loosely tied over little grey pads. On my 3rd ride the pads fell out onto the ground and another rider picked them up for me!!! I was so embarrassed that I had bought such a cheap saddle. The fenders swing back so easily that they pitch me forward. After maybe 12 rides some kind of 1-inch square patterned indentations are appearing on the seat. The cantle is so high that I have trouble clearing it as I mount and dismount. I should have returned it right away but I thought I could put up with it. I believe it is dangerous due to the pitching-forward problem.

I love the style and look of the saddle as well as the weight of it. But when my husband took it out of the box, the dye on actual leather pieces on the front and the back of the saddle came off all over the front of his shirt. We can't get it to stop bleeding anytime you even touch the leather. It would ruin anything you have on when you ride it. We're sending it back.
