(AniMed) For horses prone to the risk of founder. Contains 6,000 mg magnesium and 14 mg chromium per ounce, along with antioxidants, Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, plus all the essential amino acids. Feed 1 oz. per day per 1,000 lbs. body weight until symptoms subside, then feed 1/2 oz. per day. Granules.

I am giving this to an insulin-resistant pony who had a laminitis episode over the winter. His feet are nearly back to normal--he walks and trots freely; even throws in the odd gallop. His weight has improved substantially. It is easy to feed and palatable. I credit this product with helping him to heal.

I have been giving this to my insulin resistant pony that foundered over a year ago. She was doing so well on it, that I now feed it to all of my horses that tend to be easy keepers. It is a very affordable price too!

After my mare's hooves were ruined by a"recommended" farrier, my new farrier recommended adding magnesium to grow out stronger hooves faster with better heals. After researching, choose your product. It has worked fantastic, even my new farrier was amazed.

I have been using this on my easy keeper mare who is cresty and it has taken the crest totally down and her weight is easier to control. I would higly recommend this product. I used to use Quiensence which worked well also, but this works just as well for much less money.

I've been using Remission for my two horses with chronic laminitis issues. Along with grass intake management, the Remission has been a huge help in keeping them from acute episodes. It has helped me to be able to keep my older, endocrine-challenged Paso Fino on the trail, where he acts like a 5 year-old!
